Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting our client, a global manufacturer & distributor of electrical equipment, who are looking for a Head of Business Development to grow their position in the market with their innovative Energy Storage solutions.

Their scalable solutions are widely praised by Solar Developers, IPPs, EVCP Operators & Utilities, and they have successfully delivered over 200 ESS across EMEA & North America to date. They are serving both the C&I and front of the meter markets (up to 10MW), so are looking for an excellent Business Development professional to continue this growth across the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design the Sales and Go-to market strategy for Energy Storage in the UK & Ireland

  • Implement their sales plan through local sales forces as well as directly with customers

  • Detect opportunities and transform them in concrete business

  • Be on local expert of the M.O.D.E (Market/Offer/Demands/Environment) for ESS Products, Solutions & Services.

  • Participate in the development of marketing activities, providing insight on customers' needs, roads to market, competition, pricing

  • Be the interface between the sales team and the project engineering, representing the customer and its specific needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience selling energy storage or technical renewable energy resources to the Industrial and/or commercial clients.

  • Proven experience selling solutions or services to large corporate clients.

  • Expertise in either power conversion, batteries technologies, electrical engineering network (Low Voltage) & automation, Solar PV

  • Electrical Engineering background

  • Happy to travel 1/3rd of the time
