​TGRC has partnered with a leading utility solar and BESS developer who is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Grid Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the grid connection process for large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with grid codes, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and overseeing the commissioning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the grid connection process for large-scale renewable energy projects.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including grid operators, contractors, and internal teams.

• Ensure compliance with relevant grid codes and regulations.

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets and monitor progress against milestones.

• Oversee the commissioning process, including testing and validation of the grid connection.

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to grid connection and provide recommendations for solutions.

• Maintain project documentation and ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded and communicated to stakeholders.

• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on high-power projects.

• In-depth knowledge of grid codes and regulations, and experience with grid connection processes.

• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and build relationships with external partners.

• Experience with commissioning and testing of high-voltage equipment is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
