Summary:

A leading solar EPC company in Sydney are seeking a Grid Connection Manager who will be in charge of all grid connection responsibilities for the business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Grid Connection professional with experience in engagement with AEMO and NSPs, to join a well-respected, Australian company with a healthy pipeline of new projects

Your Role:

·        Establishing and growing relationship with relevant industry bodies including NSPs in particular

·        Negotiating grid connection methodologies with AEMO and NSPs

·        Developing the wider grid strategy with the engineering team for forthcoming projects

·        Provide power system advice across project lifecycle

·        Design of secondary systems connection infrastructure

·        Providing technical advice to wider teams where necessary

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills required from you:

·        Electrical engineering qualification(s)

·        Knowledge of policy development

·        3+ years’ experience in the Australian energy marketplace

·        Understanding of the Australian Renewable energy market

·        Experience in managing grid connection processes and regulatory issues with AEMO and NSPs

·        Technical and Commercial experience in grid connection
