​Grid Application Manager

Location: flexible United Kingdom

Salary: £75000 + bonus

TGRC is working with is a successful UK based renewable business that finds land and manages the process to get all required permits to commence construction of battery or solar units at grid scale (“Ready to Build” status or “RTB”) who are looking to add a Grid Application Manager to their friendly, successful, and expanding team.

Position:

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the management of the grid connection aspects of the projects from initial conception to full planning submission status and through to transaction due diligence.

​

As a Grid Specialist/Grid Manager, you will have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s Degree engineering discipline.

• Team player with great communication skills and a structured way of working.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in utility-scale solar farm development and grid infrastructure design.

• Proficient with MS Office and comfortable at creating models on Excel to assist with your designs/assessment.

• Commercial awareness of how design decisions and equipment specifications can affect the profitability of a project. Financial modelling experience would be advantageous.

• Experience in the design of multi-megawatt Solar PV installations using AutoCAD and PVSyst would be highly advantageous.

• Knowledge and experience in working with distribution and transmission network operators (DNO/TO)
