Finance Manager – Renewable Energy

Beijing, China (On-site)
Salary: RMB 300,000 – 500,000 per annum

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading player in the energy and resources sector to appoint a Finance Manager based in Beijing. This is a high-impact role supporting strategic financial operations within a dynamic and growing organisation at the forefront of China’s energy transition.

This role sits at the intersection of financial control, commercial insight, and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support business growth across complex, capital-intensive projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Oversee month-end and year-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Provide commercial insight to support investment decisions and project performance

  • Manage cash flow, cost control, and financial risk across operations

  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, project delivery, and senior leadership

  • Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders where required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/CPA preferred)

  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance

  • Experience within energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries is highly advantageous

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into commercial insight

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
