​An established global renewable energy advisory firm is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join its growing Technical Due Diligence team.

This is a unique opportunity for an environmental professional who wants to combine their specialist expertise with broader project management responsibilities across wind, solar, hydro, and battery energy storage projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will split their time between:

• Delivering environmental assessments and due diligence reviews for renewable energy projects.

• Managing multidisciplinary Technical Due Diligence assignments for investors, lenders, and project developers.

You will work alongside electrical, civil, and environmental specialists to evaluate project risks, review project documentation, and contribute to high-quality advisory reports that support investment and financing decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in renewable energy, environmental consulting, or project advisory.

• Knowledge of environmental permitting, compliance, and risk management.

• Strong report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within multidisciplinary project teams.

Highly Desirable

• Experience in Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lender's Technical Advisory, Independent Engineering, Owner's Engineering, or similar consulting roles.

• Exposure to wind, solar, hydro, or battery storage projects.

• Understanding of project finance, construction risk assessment, and renewable energy project development.
