Job description

The Site Electrical Superintendent will provide input, support, and technical expertise for a wind farm construction project in New Mexico. The Site Electrical Superintendent will review and supervise the electrical engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, testing, and commissioning activities done by the BOP Contractor and Turbine Supplier on behalf of the Developer or Project Company. The scope of work associated with such renewable energy projects could include but is not limited to wind turbines, HV substation, pad-mounted MV transformers, underground collection system, SCADA systems, overhead HV gen-tie line, and interconnection.

The Electrical Superintendent will directly report to the Site Construction Manager.

 

KEY TASKS:

Substation construction and transformer dress out and testing. Most importantly the checkout of the relay protection coordination, SCADA communication, HV switching, and substation commissioning.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years experience with wind farm installation and electric utilities

- Substation construction field experience

- Valid Drivers License

- OSHA 10 or 30
