​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting an exciting Cleantech start-up, who’s innovative digital platform enables a more transparent energy market, providing a marketplace for traceable renewable energy certificates. The SaaS platform is directly minimising the ongoing “greenwashing” issue, as energy can be traced back to the exact clean energy site it was generated.

With the climate-tech start-up already securing impressive pre-seed funding, they are now looking for an experienced Digital Product Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of an visionary digital marketing strategy.

They will play a significant role in the business, directly contributing to the start-up’s ambitions to grow their platform into a global market leader.


  • Create and execute an incredible product-based digital marketing strategy, working alongside the Senior Project Manager, CEO & CTO.

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum impact.

  • Drive a digital growth strategy, expanding our user base on a global scale.

  • Utilize data-driven feedback to measure campaign successes, ensuring all activities align with predefined goals.

  • Design e-marketing materials, knowledge sharing with internal & external parties.

  • Execute a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) framework to maximise the portal's visibility and reach.

  • Manage and curate content across social media platforms and digital PR communications.

  • Create and distribute tailored, informative e-newsletters.

  • Collaborate with the sales team, ensuring marketing and sales strategies are aligned.

  • Remain up to date on competitor and market activities, guaranteeing a strong market position.

  • Create impactful case studies and client testimonials.

  • Contribute to and plan events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

  • Provide proactive support for proposals, tenders, pitches, and marketing events.


  • Strong academic acumen (BA/MA degree level education).

  • >2 years working experience in a B2B digital marketing role.

  • Working experience in a renewable energy/cleantech market.

  • Proven ability to successfully manage campaigns across Pay-per-Click, SEO, email, & social media.

  • Skilled in identifying target audiences and creating tailored digital campaigns.

  • Data analysis skills and a keen desire to experiment and optimize.

  • Experience with website analytics tools, ideally Google Analytics.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.

  • Driven to stay up to date on digital marketing practices.

  • Proven digital marketing analytics skills, with a strong focus on SEO.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building relationships.

  • Radiates a welcoming and positive mentality.
