Job description

The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience within the utilities industry. They will have strong organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written), high attention to detail and have experience of accurately inputting data into a database, along with the ability to work under pressure. They should also have a keen willingness to learn, and must have strong/good working experience of Microsoft office suite, especially Excel.

The Role:

  • Work with team leaders and staff on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to support their team needsto cover holidays / sickness any work sprints that arise to increased workloads
  • Manual Entries of invoices/credits from suppliers into our database. You will be required to enter data into the database and ensure that the information passes various validation and verification checks.
  • Maintenance of internal databases, folders and systems to ensure accurate and organised storage and provision of data.
  • Plan and organise workload to meet existing client requirements.
  • There is a large requirement for the candidate to engage in email correspondence in order to resolve queries, as well as follow up phone calls for all teams
  • Dealing with disconnection queries. This will require you to contact the supplier to update them on the current position of the account and working with accounts payable departments internally to come to payment resolution
  • During the day various queries will arise via our CRM system Zendesk or via phone. These will vary from utility invoice queries to site queries where you will need to contact suppliers and sites.
  • Process change of tenancies, on board new clients and any other ad hoc contract related requirements with energy suppliers, including supplier objections. This includes use of multiple systems and collaboration with other teams.
