Regional Compensation and Benefits Expert, Asia

Our client is a Fortune 500 employer from Germany and focus on renewable energy.

The Compensation and Benefits expert for Asia, as a key part for Global Compensation and Benefits team and local APAC region, want to offer a fair and competitive Compensation and Benefits package to attract and retain the workforce of the business to shape the renewable energy industry with a commitment on Diversity & Inclusion and the employee wellbeing.

 

As part of the role you will:

·       Drive and design business focused solutions for the Compensation and Benefits function with a focus on process harmonization and cost efficiency

·       Work closely with the Head of Compensation and Benefits, other HR stakeholders and business stakeholders in the design of a successful and business relevant Compensation and Benefits strategy for the Asia region

·       Focus on working collaboratively to identify and implement best practice, shed obsolete legacy systems and processes and be an ambassador for continuous improvement

·       Be the functional lead of Compensation and Benefits in Asia for any C&B topics

·       Promote a philosophy of fairness and transparency

·       Ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal guidelines, especially tax compliance

·       Ensure global policies are implemented and managed in the local assigned countries

·       Manage the year-end compensation review and bonus payments

·       Define and manage benefits proposition and local benefit renewals working with a global broker

·       Support the HR function with benchmarking or levelling requests for Senior Managers

 

Candidate Requirements:

·       Bachelor degree and above, major in human resources is preferred

·       More than 10 years of experience in human resources management in large enterprises, including more than 8 years of work experience related to Compensation & Benefit

·       Leadership experience either in a management or project capacity

·       Good knowledge of developments and expertise in Reward and Benefits,both in China and South Asia Region

·       Ability to drive, manage and structure a global project in partnership with various business stakeholders

·       Team focused individual who understands the importance of leveraging available resources to build a high performing Compensation and Benefits team

·       Comfortable in working in a global virtual environment

·       Knowledge of industry leading tools, experience of working with the big 4 and commercial understanding

·       Strong communication and analytical skills

·       Excellent MS Office knowledge

·       Fluent in English

 

Reporting to: Global Head of C&B and China HRD

Location: Wangjing of Chaoyang District, Beijing

Salary: Around RMB 600K per year
