The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with one of the most revolutionary cleantech start-ups in Europe, striving to achieve net-zero through their Smart Energy Management software & BESS products – allowing SMEs to engage in the green energy transition, while also saving money!
Following PE-backing and impressive growth last year, our client is currently searching for a Commissioning and Service Engineer, who will play an important role in the business’ continued presence by assessing client requirements and commissioning their Energy Storage & Software products.
The ideal candidate will have electrical installation experience surrounding renewables, as well as good computer and software capabilities - while ultimately being confident in managing on-site activities and having the ability to work self-sufficiently!
They will be a part of the London office but commissioning and servicing sites across the country – while also having opportunities to travel abroad.
Key responsibilities:
Organise, coordinate and oversee engineering projects.
Understand client needs/requirements and create solutions confidently.
Collaborate and interact effectively with project management, sales, & 3rd party installers.
Oversee commissioning and instillation.
Fix malfunctions or other issues as and when they occur.
Understand and create complex manuals and diagrams.
Diagnose and resolve electrical installation errors.
Job Requirements:
Experience with electrical and supervisory circuitry, surrounding renewables/cleantech product – ideally Solar or Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Evidence of qualification surrounding electrical installations (E.g., 17th/18th edition)
High-level understanding of IT, networking, or software systems.
Ability to travel and work autonomously.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience working with a range of equipment.
Strong problem-solving and numerical skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
Good MS Office skills, and an ability to learn.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
