The Green Recruitment Company are looking to hire a Renewables Business/Project Developer for with one of the leading Electrical Transmission and Distribution companies in Saudi Arabia. They are now looking to develop other opportunities in the renewable energy feild. 

The company intends to execute renewable energy projects in the Kingdom and is therefore creating a team in Saudi for that purpose. 

Basic Function

• Manage the development of projects from any stage to get them to a ready to build state
• Work with relevant internal staff to prepare a competitive offer for the client in case of EPC or to prepare a competitive investment offer for IPP projects
• Work with relevant internal staff to set up a company greenfield development activities over the medium term
• Negotiate and/or assist in the negotiation of partnerships/co-operation/development agreements
• Manage the identification of new development initiatives or greenfield sites
• Evaluating opportunities and following through to acquire land or projects when an offer is accepted by conducting due diligence with advisors (if necessary) to finalize the deal
• Carry out other ad hoc activities required to achieve company objectives and to be pro-active in meeting group objectives, engaging in industry events & consultations so the company can act on new trends, and analysis of renewables regulation and risks this presents 

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development of renewable energy projects
• Experience of wind and/or solar project development
• Strong time management and organizational skills, excellent attention to details
• Knowledge of project risks and how to mitigate them
• Experience in financial models would also be desirable

Education

University degree in business, finance, engineering or any other field related to the position

PMP is a plus
