My client are a global developer, who are world leaders in the construction of offshore windfarms. They are looking to recruit a Bid Director to lead on their Offshore Wind bid team. They are looking for someone to take overall responsibility for several bids simultaneously across the UK and Ireland. There is scope to be involved on international bids also.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a multi-disciplinary team; the team will deliver on commercially successful bid, strategies and plans
• Developing relationships with key industry stakeholders
• Taking complete responsibility for the development of the bid process: this includes economics, pricing, providing commercial solutions
• Critical assessment of bids before submittal
• Being involved in joint venture projects

Experience Needed:

• Essential for you to have experience in delivering complex, large scale, renewables joint venture bids or projects within offshore wind.
• Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team
• Advanced understanding of financial investment appraisal techniques
• Experience in confidently engaging with senior stakeholders
• Experience in contract negotiations, ideally in a Joint Venture project.

This role will be remote, with some travel involved.
