AGREEMENT MANAGER - ENERGY STORAGE

The Client is looking for anAgreement Managerfor a growing Energy Storage market in our North Region. The position will report to the Regional Agreement Manager and would be ideally based in Houston TX, although other locations can be considered with the US, Canada or Caribbean.

Salary: $110,000+ (DOE)

What you will be doing:

The Agreement Manager is accountable for overall performance of the assigned agreement customers including agreement renewals, upselling, customer care and lifecycle services delivery during the lifecycle of the agreement. This includes driving financial, operative and technical performance of customer installations, identification of customer pain points and addressing those with corrective actions. The Agreement Manager will also secure customer investments and minimize related financial risks and ensure customer profitability by proactively identifying performance improvement measures.

As an Agreement Manager you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage contract management activities and/or assigned team.

  • Execute assigned contracts in accordance with guidelines, the Contract Management process and general management practices in a safe and cost-effective way.

  • Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.

  • Follow-up customer satisfaction and ensure that agreed actions are taken in the area or in the assigned responsibility area.

  • Plan, budget and manage result of the work within the scope of the contract.

  • Optimize assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract.

  • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.

  • Ensure quality of work related to the contract execution.

  • Follow up financial, operative and technical performance through reviews and reporting and take corrective actions.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management or Business Administration or Business Management

  • Seven (7) years of experience in Agreement/Contract Management specific to Battery Storage/BESS

  • Demonstrated success in managing, writing, reviewing and negotiating complex / non-standard agreements and large contracts is a must.

  • Solid knowledge of legal and contractual laws governing projects would be an advantage.

  • Understanding of energy systems and energy dispatch
