THE OPPORTUNITY: 

The Green Recruitment Company are partnered with a public affairs agency specialising in the built environment (renewable energy, infrastructure and property) who are looking for an Account Manager to join their team in London. 

THE ROLE:

• Leading on the delivery of these strategies, including client liaison, stakeholder analysis, managing the production of communication materials (print and digital), consultation analysis and reporting 
• Developing long term client relations
• Being part of bid teams and business development initiatives to drive new work and opportunities
• Managing and organising consultation events, exhibitions and briefings
• Developing and managing media relationships for clients both locally and nationally 
• Managing project finance, budgets and external suppliers
• Keeping updated with the latest changes in the policy and political landscapes across our client sectors, mainly across energy and infrastructure
• Staying well informed about new trends and best practice in PR and engagement and imparting this knowledge to the wider Account Management team
   

THE INDIVIDUAL:
 

•  6 months to 1 year experience in a relevant role (either in-house or agency) 
• Strong working understanding of the UK public policy landscape in the built environment and renewables' sector, specifically familiarity with DCO/infrastructure planning  
• BA or MA Degree in a relevant discipline (Humanities, Environmental Governance, etc.) 
• Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
