Senior PPA Structurer

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior PPA Structurer to join our Origination & Markets function. This is a key commercial role, central to delivering value across a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects. As a senior member of the structuring team, you will take ownership of end-to-end transaction execution, leading Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Flexibility Purchase Agreement (FPA) deals from initial concept through to contract signature.
You will work closely with origination teams and act as the central coordinator across internal functions and external stakeholders, ensuring transactions are commercially robust, well-structured, and executed efficiently. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, with an expectation to independently drive complex transactions and contribute to the ongoing development of structuring and pricing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structuring and negotiation of PPA and FPA transactions across multiple markets
Partner closely with origination teams and act as a key interface with customers
Manage entire deal processes, coordinating internal stakeholders and external counterparties
Develop and negotiate commercial documentation, including term sheets and long-form agreements
Coordinate cross-functional inputs across legal, technical, finance, investment, and market intelligence teams
Manage external advisors such as brokers, consultants, and legal counsel
Oversee due diligence processes related to commercial agreements
Lead negotiation of key transaction documents, including:
Memoranda of Understanding (MoU)
Term sheets and exclusivity agreements
Long-form PPAs and FPAs
Guarantees of Origin (GoO) agreements
Engage directly with corporate offtakers, utilities, investors, and partners in international markets
Candidate Profile
Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (postgraduate preferred)
5+ years’ experience in PPA structuring, pricing, or negotiations
Demonstrated track record of closing multiple structured energy transactions
Strong knowledge of European power markets and commercial deal frameworks
Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of how revenue contracts impact project economics and risk profiles
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong commercial mindset
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally
