Regional Finance Manager
Job description
Our client is a growing international renewable energy and infrastructure platform with business operations across Singapore and overseas project markets. As the business continues to expand its regional footprint, the company is looking for a hands-on finance and tax professional to manage its Singapore entities, including operating companies and project SPVs.
Responsibilities
Manage full-set accounting for Singapore entities, including operating companies and SPVs.
Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and transaction files in line with Singapore statutory and accounting requirements.
Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, respond to audit queries and support the timely issuance of audit reports.
Handle Singapore corporate tax compliance, including ECI filing, annual tax returns, GST, withholding tax and related payments.
Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation and support related-party agreement management.
Respond to IRAS enquiries, tax reviews or audits, including preparation of supporting materials and communication with external advisers where required.
Monitor relevant Singapore tax updates and support the headquarters tax team on local tax planning and business structure matters.
Prepare routine tax reports, data analysis and compliance summaries for internal management purposes.
Coordinate with headquarters treasury team on bank account management, fund transfers, settlements, finance system implementation and related treasury processes.
Support accounting and finance work for overseas project countries where required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related discipline.
Qualification such as CA Singapore, CPA Australia, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
Solid knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, Companies Act requirements, IRAS tax rules and local compliance practices.
Hands-on experience with Singapore corporate income tax, ECI, annual tax filing, GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing documentation.
Prior experience supporting Singapore-based trading, investment, holding company or SPV structures is highly preferred.
Exposure to project finance, investment, infrastructure, renewable energy or project-based business models would be an advantage.
ERP/Kingdee experience would be a plus.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
