​We are supporting a leading investment banking platform in the search for an Associate to join its Energy Infrastructure team. The team advises a broad range of clients across the energy transition and infrastructure landscape, including renewable developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, IPPs and strategic investors across Europe.

The role offers exposure to high-profile M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates in one of the most active areas of the infrastructure market.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role across live transactions and business development activities, supporting senior bankers on the execution of complex energy and infrastructure mandates.

Responsibilities will include:

• Financial modelling and valuation analysis

• M&A execution

• Debt and equity capital raising support

• Preparation of client presentations and marketing materials

• Due diligence coordination

• Transaction process management

• Market research and strategic analysis

• Supporting negotiations and client interactions

The individual will gain exposure across a broad range of energy infrastructure and energy transition subsectors, including:

• Renewable energy

• Battery energy storage systems (BESS)

• Power and utilities

• Energy transition infrastructure

• Grid and flexible energy assets

Candidate Profile

The team is looking to speak with candidates who possess:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience within investment banking, infrastructure advisory or energy M&A

• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities

• Transaction execution experience across M&A and/or capital raising mandates

• Exposure to energy, infrastructure, renewables or power markets

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to operate within fast-paced transaction environments
