Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all grid connection activities across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development through construction and commissioning.

• Act as the technical lead for grid connection matters, providing support to development, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

• Manage relationships with TSOs, DSOs, regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to secure timely grid connections.

• Monitor changes to Polish grid codes, regulations, permitting requirements, and market practices, ensuring projects remain compliant.

• Oversee technical due diligence, identifying and mitigating grid-related technical, commercial, and delivery risks.

• Review and optimise grid connection strategies, electrical designs, plant layouts, and connection concepts across solar PV, wind, BESS, and hybrid energy projects.

• Validate grid connection CAPEX, technical solutions, project schedules, milestones, and associated risks to support investment decisions and project planning.

• Provide technical input into grid connection agreements, electrical works contracts, equipment procurement, and consultant scopes of work.

• Review technical proposals from Owner's Engineers and other external advisers, ensuring quality, value, and alignment with project requirements.

• Track the delivery of grid connection activities against programme, budget, contractual obligations, and network operator requirements, proactively resolving issues where required.

• Support project financing, acquisitions, and technical due diligence by preparing technical documentation and responding to lender, investor, and adviser queries.

• Drive continuous improvement of grid connection processes, standards, reporting, and best practices across the organisation.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years' experience in grid connection, utilities, or renewable energy.

• Strong knowledge of the Polish power system, grid codes, and regulatory framework.

• Experience working with PSE, DSOs, and managing grid connection applications and agreements.

• Ability to interpret technical documentation, electrical designs, and power system studies.

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Fluent Polish and English.

• Valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel within Poland.
