Job Vacancy: WTG Commissioning Engineer (Onshore Wind)
Location: Fukushima, Japan
Hourly Rate: $60

TGRC, a prominent recruitment agency specializing in renewable energy, is currently looking for an experienced WTG Commissioning Engineer to join a leading onshore wind project in Fukushima. This role is pivotal for those keen to drive innovation and operational excellence in the renewable sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of wind turbine generators (WTGs) within project timelines and specifications.

  • Conduct and supervise tests, calibrations, and system adjustments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all technical requirements.

  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to facilitate effective and efficient commissioning activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the commissioning phase, ensuring reliability and functionality of WTGs.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards, maintaining rigorous documentation for all commissioning processes.

  • Offer technical support and guidance to on-site teams, contributing to knowledge transfer and operational training post-commissioning.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in WTG commissioning, ideally within the onshore wind energy sector.

  • Profound knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems in wind turbines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing complex technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in collaborating across diverse teams.

  • Relevant technical degree in engineering or a related field.

This contract role offers an attractive hourly rate of $60 and is expected to last for 12 months, providing a great opportunity for professional development in the renewable energy landscape.
