About the Company

Our client is an industry-leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specializing in renewable energy, with a strong focus on wind power. As part of their strategic expansion in the dynamic market of Shanghai, they are looking to appoint an experienced Wind Energy Manager to lead their wind energy division.

Position Overview

The Wind Energy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of wind energy projects from conception through to completion. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s growth in the wind power sector and achieving its sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of wind energy projects, including site selection, feasibility studies, design, construction, and commissioning.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and market trends in wind energy to incorporate best practices and innovations into project plans.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector, with a significant focus on wind energy projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale wind energy projects.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Mandarin.
