TGRC, a specialist in renewable energy recruitment, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a key Solar PV project located in Oxfordshire. This contract role is an exceptional opportunity for a driven professional looking to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Solar PV project site, ensuring project deliverables are met according to timelines and budgets.

• Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and safe work practices.

• Monitor project progress against schedule, managing any necessary adjustments to meet project milestones.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the installation meets technical specifications and industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety audits and briefings.

• Manage and report on project status to stakeholders, preparing detailed reports and updates as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the solar energy industry, with specific experience managing Solar PV projects.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams in a dynamic construction environment.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with construction and electrical standards applicable to solar installations.

• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

• A valid CSCS card and any other relevant health and safety qualifications are highly desirable.

This contract offers a competitive day rate of £450 and will last for 9 months, providing a challenging yet rewarding environment for the right candidate.
