Job title: Onshore Wind Owners Engineer

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company is currently working with a leading Australian advisory firm who are investing significantly in renewable energy in the UK. The business is looking for an Onshore Wind Owners Engineer to join their teams in London or Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of onshore wind projects from conception to completion. This role will involve collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Development: Lead the development and planning of onshore wind projects. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Engineering Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Review engineering design, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

  • Construction and commissioning: Manage the procurement process for onshore wind projects, including tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor selection. Oversee the construction phase, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

  • Quality assurance and control.

  • Health, safety, and environmental compliance.

  • A as the primary point of contact for engineering-related matters, both internally and externally.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical).

  • Proven experience in the development, construction, and operation of onshore wind projects.

  • Experience managing engineering activities, budgets, and schedules.
