About the Company

Our client is a top-tier Chinese manufacturer specializing in renewable energy components. As part of their expansion into the U.S. market, they are seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of their manufacturing equipment in the United States.

Position Overview

The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the overall management of plant equipment used in the production of renewable energy components. This role includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with all local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to improve overall equipment reliability and performance.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Lead and train a team of technicians in proper operational and maintenance procedures.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of new equipment and parts.

• Prepare and manage the budget for equipment maintenance and upgrades.

• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.

• Proven leadership skills and experience managing a technical team.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin highly advantageous.
