Location: Wales, UK

Day Rate: £325

Contract Duration: 12 Months

About the Role:

As the Civil Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of vital infrastructure needed for effective grid transmission and distribution of renewable energy. Your expertise in civil engineering will guide the project to meet its objectives while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and all regulatory requirements.

  • Manage construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

  • Prepare comprehensive site reports and construction documentation, maintaining accurate records of engineering processes.

  • Monitor project schedules, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues in project execution.

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and external entities to ensure all project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in grid transmission and distribution projects within the renewable energy field.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and directing staff towards achieving project goals.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with relevant certifications such as CSCS, SMSTS preferred.
