The Green Recruitment Company is representing an international renewables engineering consultancy who are looking for a wind energy analyst to join their expanding teams based  either in Glasgow or London.

The Role:

A candidate with the ability to retrieve and manipulate large datasets using relational database tools and to interpret and report upon the results in a productive and insightful way is sought.

The role would be perfect for highly numerate applicant with experience of wind analysis and wind flow modelling. The role will involve analysis for proposed and operational wind farms. The role will also encompass managing projects and acting as an adviser to other analysts in the team.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

• Degree in a highly numerate discipline
• Experience of wind analysis techniques
• Familiarity with wind flow models such as WAsP, Windpro and/or CFD packages
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Flexible and proactive approach

Desired

• Post-graduate qualification in a highly numerate discipline
• Familiarity with MS Access, VBA and Matlab
• Previous project management experience
• A good knowledge of the wind industry
